Fractal Patchwork Quilt Pattern
The Fractal Patchwork quilt pattern is constructed with traditional (HST) half-square and (QST) quarter-square triangles to make this modern design.
This pattern has been designated as adventurous beginner. There are no complicated steps.
This design is compatible with most fabric cutting systems. Instructions using both traditional piecing and a cutting system are provided.
You will need dies for 6" (finished) half- and quarter-square triangle pieces. However, a fabric cutting system is not required for this pattern.
Choose your Fabrics
Three different colors, in a variety of shades, are used to provide contrast and interest.
Choose your three main colors and then choose 4-5 shades of each color to create the variety needed.
The directions are always in great detail with follow-along images to help. I love the coloring plan page at the back, so you can have that with you throughout the piecing process.
